What’s one thing you’d like everyone to know about Weidman Law?

Our focus is singular. We help our clients with their VT real estate transactions – purchases, sales, refi’s, and transfers.

What sets Weidman Law apart?

There is fantastic ying-and-yang between me and my dad Jon Weidman. Dad has tremendous legal knowledge, having focused in real estate law for 35+ years. I worked as a mechanical engineer prior to law, in production, quality, and continuous improvement, in ISO9000 and AS9100 certified environments. I used that skillset to implement a modern Quality Management System when I joined the firm, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we are the only real estate law office in Vermont that has one. Feedback is a gift and I continuously improve our methods so that every client can expect the best out of us every time.

What are you most proud of at the law firm?

My relationship with our clients. Real estate is very high stakes. I always do my best to keep in mind the unique needs of each client and to equip them for a successful transaction, because each one is important.

What are you most excited about?

The Okemo Valley’s best days are still ahead of us. There is much potential here and I love helping good people move here and invest in our area.

How does the Chamber of Commerce fit in with your goals? 

My favorite part of Chamber membership is attending the monthly mixers hosted by the various businesses of the Chamber. I get to learn about the services and interests of my fellow members who contribute so much to the Okemo Valley.

Why is Okemo Valley a good place for Weidman Law?

My dad Jon really was pulled in to work on his first deal here, and after that the business community helped him get our Ludlow office in 2019 and have supported us ever since. It is a beautiful area and welcoming community which helped us make it our home.
